"The Last of Us Part 2" foi o grande vencedor do Game Awards 2020. O jogo, que havia sido indicado em 10 categorias, ganhou seis prêmios, incluindo o de Jogo do Ano. O evento aconteceu na noite desta quinta-feira (10).
Além da vitória na categoria mais cobiçada, as outras cinco em que o game levou a melhor foram: Melhor Direção, Melhor Narrativa, Melhor Design de Áudio, Melhor Atuação (Laura Bailey como Abby), Melhor Inovação em Acessibilidade e Melhor Jogo de Ação e Aventura.
